Renee D’Antuono

Renee is an occupational therapist (MS, OTR/L), Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS) and Professional Driving Instructor (PDI). She is a 2016 graduate of Salem State University's Occupational Therapy Masters of Science program where she devoted 2 years of her graduate studies researching interventions and trends in driver rehabilitation. Before receiving her graduate degree, Renee spent over 12 years working with the medically complex older adult population and most recently worked with children and young adults with various intellectual and neurodiverse learning profiles. In 2019, she developed a specialized adapted driving program for new and experienced drivers facing medical, physical and cognitive challenges. Renee is passionate about the field driver rehabilitation and hopes to foster independence through specialized driving instruction and programming.

Amanda Holt

Amanda is an Occupational Therapist (MS, OTR/L), Driving Rehabilitation Specialist (DRS), and Professional Driving Instructor (PDI). Since graduating from the Boston School of Occupational Therapy at Tufts University in 2017, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals of all ages regain and maintain independence throughout the continuum of care. While she has worked in the acute hospital setting as well as inpatient rehabilitation and home care, Amanda ultimately settled in outpatient rehabilitation with an expertise in neurological conditions and visual deficits. For the past 5 years she has worked at Newton-Wellesley Ambulatory Care Center, where she was first introduced to the field of driver rehabilitation through working in the Drive Safe Program.

Amanda understands that for many people driving equates to independence, which is why she feels fortunate to be in the position to enable others to maintain or achieve that level of independence despite a medical condition. On the other hand, when driving is no longer a safe option she is sensitive to the impact that will have on not only the individual, but their loved ones as well, and is committed to assuring that they are still able to access their community and get where they want and need to go.
