At DriveRx, we specialize in serving individuals with a wide range of medical and neurological conditions that impact driving. Many of our clients are older adults experiencing age-related changes such as arthritis, neuropathy, vision decline, or cardiopulmonary conditions. We also work closely with individuals recovering from hospitalization, those living with cognitive impairments or dementia, and clients managing neurological conditions like Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, or post-stroke challenges.
For those requiring physical adaptations to drive, our vehicle is equipped with a variety of hand controls, steering devices, and a left foot accelerator. We support clients with sensory loss, limb differences, and neurological conditions that affect upper or lower limb function—including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, spinal cord injuries, and amputations.
We also work with neurodiverse new drivers who are learning to navigate the road for the first time. These individuals may have learning profiles such as autism spectrum, ADHD, nonverbal learning disorder (NVLD), or other learning disabilities. Our evaluations are tailored to assess each client’s unique strengths and needs, ensuring they receive the guidance and support necessary for safe and confident driving.
